Cold Ones

We planned to take it easy after the hard-partying Thanksgiving weekend, but today's loss of Evel Knievel sent us 4 out for a few cold ones.

Everyone felt great; we even recovered a baby bottle left behind at the Ale House sometime in the past!

Don't call me a rat-face,

because I can clap!

And so can I!

Or no, really, I can't...yet.

Bagby!

All of the pictures on this blog don't actually have to be taken in the same room. A case in point: this week the four girls went on an epic adventure to the true haven of all hippies (and a major setting of the fine film Old Joy), Bagby Hot Springs. Hold onto your pants, now.

As a friend said, "That's some serious earth-momma [action]; I love it. All it lacks is you in the background playing a recorder."

A Look Back at Thanksgiving Times

There's so much to look back on...

Like this beautiful swarthy:

And this one:

Whee!

This one? They don't call him "Long A" for no reason at all.

More Fun with Grambee and Jim

Thanksgiving made Ida very dirty. She is considering a new, slicked-back hairstyle.

A hike to Powell Butte caused some pneumatic cheek action

And super-flexible neck:

Thanksgiving! Grambee, Jim, Hugh

Mid-day on Thanksgiving, Grambee and Jim appeared. Wow. Ida was lounging in her "I Rock" Hamburgler guitar outfit and playing with her "I Wuv You" Dog:

Before long she was in her party dress, being escorted by her old friend Hugh. You may remember him from the first day of her life.

In the background of the picture above you can see someone who spent a lot of time watching the on-line New York Times "Butcher Carves a Turkey" video.

Thanksgiving takes so long to prepare, and it's gone so fast. Soon Ida was in her pink sleepsuit, going through some post-prandial arm-flapping before calling it a night:

Ida vs. Mimi vs. Max

Ida enjoyed an exciting dinner event with her friend Mimi

Ida is quite impressed with Mimi's strange expressions...

...and even more impressed with Mimi's brother, Max, who wanted everyone to play monster and to look up his nose:

Biggest Little Devil Announcement!

Ida would like to congratulate her older cousin, Elsie, for soundly trouncing all competition in the Biggest Little Devil poll (to your right). Ida is a little envious...

...but then just what exactly the poll was about is pretty unclear.

Congrats, Els!

Ida vs. Anticipation

Ida is all anticipation to see who will win the "biggest little devil" poll; she wonders if there's been some ballot-stuffing in the Elsie/D. Hawk horse race, and is surprised that she herself hasn't garnered more votes.

Ida and Elsie Receive a Package

An exciting package arrived from Haddonsfield!

So exciting that Ida fell right over:

For kicks, here's a photo of Ida with her Japanese doll-friend, Akela. Note: Akela did NOT come in today's package.
