The End of Something (s)

Yeah, so much is ending! It's bittersweet. Like last week was probably the last time I drive all four girls to school in the moving van (that's Arthur, back there):

This is how it used to look, way back in the day:

You can't see Miki in that photo because she had to be turned around backward:

And then the Kindergarten end of the year Show!  One benefit of being relatively short is you get to be in front:

Ida explained that some of her classmates felt "uncomfortable" and had "stage fright," but not her.  She's got performing in her blood.

These hosers were sitting behind me.  Maggie gave me a "wet willie."

Ida had an important role as "Princess Leah" (not Princess Leia) as they sang and acted out a Jimmy Buffett song.  She gave pearls and coral to Young Mr. Moon and Magnus:

Here's Ida's teacher, Jan!  Longsuffering!  She's retiring this year, maybe due to Ida.

Yes, Ida graduated!  Is reading!  Heading on to first grade (after a slew of camps)!

It is difficult to understand why Maggie hates so much on the celebration of kindergarten graduation, and my appreciation of it.  Is it because Elsie didn't get enrobed?  This at present is my only surmise.

The future!

great comparison pics, Pete!

FYI, Elsie did graduate from kindergarden, and with highest honors.

I heard that Elsie graduated "only" cum laude--haven't seen her tassels.
