We are rarely all three pictured together on this blog, when in fact we are often together. One looks at the other two, then the other one does, and so on.

Pierre LeBlanc is very patient and a veritable Mr. Sandman. Often we wish he did not live in Canada so he could come and calm down our Ida Akiko.

wow, that Dad looks wiped out.
where do you get her cute clothes??! I have a 3 month and would love to find some of the clothes Ida has for my daughter
We've been extremely fortunate to have received lots of great clothes, used and new, from cousins and friends far and wide. Anyone who's sent us this cool stuff want to comment on where it originated?
Assuming that you, Kellyg, are not a nefarious family member trying to trick us--in fact, we have not bought a single item of clothing from Ida. True, I am sponsored by Nike and so she has some good swoosh gear, but otherwise we've accepted a lot of hand-me-downs, especially encouraging people with boy children to give us goods...we have actively and passively discouraged pink, with mixed results. There are actually some nice shades of pink, especially since Ida is a swarthy. Some of our finest gear seems to come from Peru, where the children must be extremely well-dressed. And Ella prohibits the mention of any specific benefactor, as it will make others feel left out; let it be said, however, that if you know Charlie D'Ambrosio he's got a real weakness for baby shopping.
I meant to say "clothing for Ida." For the record, we have yet to buy any "clothing from Ida," either; she will probably talk us into that before long.
