Catching up, Anonymous, catching up...so, yes, Ida's taking after her Dad and becoming a serious skater!
She got it at the Eastmoreland yard sale. For one dollar. And she shreds.
Summer mornings when the Bradfords are away, I ride the girls to school on the big bike Kona Ute. They usually strategize, convincing me to go to a coffee shop or a park or, best of all, Reed College. One thing ReedCo has is one of these McFish rideable things on springs:
The girls know where every single candy jar at Reed is, and they ate m&ms, Reese's pieces, some taffy, and a peppermint.
And Reed actually has a coffee shop, so we didn't skimp on the hot chocolate, don't worry!
It was a nice ride, and we only got to Tumbleweeds thirty minutes late.

I like that Ida is taking after her old man and wearing her shoes opposite feet-style. its a pretty cool detail for skaters, old and young.
