This is Ida's first Christmas. Grambee was PUMPED.

These girls were so fortunate to have Chandler looking after them. Us, too.

And noticing something new about Ella's stomach. There was something in there. Ida liked to talk to the baby, right through the skin!

Somewhere before then, here in PDX, Theo showed up. You can tell that she and Miki are already getting along really well. (This is part of a very fine sequence in which Theo drinks cheap beer from a can.)

Remember when Miki couldn't even walk? All that knee-walking! This is just last summer; now she never walks. She runs.

And Uncle Arthur was often on the scene. Rumor has it he's been giving plenty of mustache rides, but he has not been wearing this shirt very often. Perhaps such advertisement is unnecessary.

Good to see you are still alive out there.
Even with this recycled material AB is nipping at your heels and I am dominating you in January.

I have a confession to make. Upon seeing the "Ida's first Christmas" photo, this was my immediate thought: "Why on Earth did Pete put a wig on his baby daughter?"
Then I remembered that masterful hair that Ida brought with her into this world.
Looking forward to 500 more posts. -Amy who lives on the street where Chandler goes to school (the closest to fame I'll ever get)
The pictures of posing for the Christmas card, girls nesting in the desk, and girls bearing terrible pain to nurse their young are real winners. Way to pick em! Five hundred...oh my. As an elderly person, who is making lists of where others should find things when I'm deceased, I need share that you must leave your blog address for perpetuity.
