Finally, a bath!

After ten days breathing air, Ida became quite filthy. She met the challenge of the bath with quiet curiosity. (Thanks to Aunt Grace for the cool bathing apparatus!)

Some say her hair will all fall out and grow back blond, or she'll be bald. It does seem a little too good to last. So we'll shampoo it vigorously.



She acts like she doesn't care, but she's actually quite vain about her hair. And now she's clean for the arrival of . . . Grambee and Jim.
